Sunday Message Takeaway (from July 22): Pastor Brad’s message was from Ephesians 1:3-14, Sitting in God’s Grace. Thoughts: We were slaves to sin (sin was our “master”). God redeemed us. He paid the price and set us free. We have an inheritance in Christ. We are called children of the King so have the right to come before him – boldly. Once adopted, it is legally binding forever; only the child can revoke it. We have been given the pledge of the Holy Spirit. We are sealed by Him which makes an inward and outward difference. We are invited to sit and remember whose we are. Does knowing whose we are, and that we are and always will be redeemed and children of God make a difference in how we approach life, in how we interact with others?
